Ebay has a good reputation for bargains but one has to be careful of the few bad traders out there. Make sure to check the feedback of the seller to see how his ratings fare. Take particular note of the negative and neutral comments given to sellers as these are given for a reason; be cautious of sellers with little or no feedback. It’s your money, it’s hard enough to earn and you don’t want to throw it away.

Compare listings for the product you want and also postage rates as some unscrupulous sellers have a low price on the item to make you think it’s a bargain and then, when you come to pay the postage is way too high.

Ebay frown on high postal rates because they are obviously losing commission on the sale where the price is artificially low; however they are taking steps to stamp this practice out.
