We, Graeme & Monika plus Slinky Cat (a very important member of the team!), started Red Hot Web Hosting in 2004, here in Wales, in order to serve the small business and individual customers who came to the shop we had then called “The Red Hot Group”.

Website design and production just seemed a natural extension to what we were already doing in the shop - selling and repairing computers, web hosting services, training, selling consumables and anything else connected with computers, that people wanted.

Since 2004, we’ve developed our skills in website designing, copywriting, online marketing, SEO practices including article writing and submission, link and list building, social networking, blogging, etc.

Slinky The Cat - The Boss

Graeme has had a passion for computers for most of his adult life. He started working with them, main frames as they were then, in 1961 for Western Geophysical Co. of America. After working in the corporate sector – Litton Industries, Hamilton Oil, Mobil Oil “Statfjord B” project in Norway, to name just a few, he did a few years freelance computer work, then started his own computer business.

Monika, who comes from the USA, was a much later entrant into the world of computers. She started her career in food retailing and then moved into consulting. Since moving to Wales (in the UK) about 20 years ago she’s been involved with charitable groups, helping them get established and gain funding, the regeneration of the market town of Cardigan, computer retailing and training and for the last few years, website design, marketing, copywriting and customer interface.

Having closed the shop a couple of years ago so we could concentrate on the web side of the business, we’ve been putting all of our energy into helping our clients with quality website designs and upgrades, as well as gaining them better search engines results with our in-depth search engine optimisation knowledge and techniques.

Yes, we are a small organisation but we have partners in the USA (Robbi and Kiran) that can provide skills to complement the ones we already have in-house. Smaller organisations can more often give you that individualised attention which ensures a deeper understanding of your needs and leads to ideas that really “hit the mark”. Execution of those ideas, coupled with up-to-the-minute knowledge results in websites that work!

We bring a sense of enthusiasm and commitment to every new project - large or small and to every client relationship.

We do what we do because we love doing it and by using our talents in web design and SEO, we can make a difference to the people whose lives (and websites) we touch.

What do we do when we’re not designing websites?

We love gardening - right now (summer 2010) we’re eating our own carrots, spring onions, radishes, strawberries, new potatoes, fresh herbs and beans – soon, cucumbers and peppers as well and no chemicals or supermarkets are involved! We live near the sea so have all the wonderful views, walks, wind and weather to enjoy. And, of course, we love our cats.
